Online Provider Directories

If you enroll in an Aetna or UnitedHealthcare plan, you can go online to look for doctors, hospitals and other health care providers who belong to the network. Online provider directories give you a variety of search options and provide details about each provider that can help you make better health care choices and decisions.

You can go to Your Benefits Resources to search for providers that participate in each of the plans or you can to the following plans' Web sites:

Aetna DocFind^®

With DocFind, you can search for a specific provider, find a specialist* or enter your zip code and the number of miles you're willing to travel to find in-network providers near you. For each doctor, DocFind provides information about credentials and practice, including education, board certification, languages spoken, office location and hours, and parking and handicapped access. Recently, Aetna added cost and clinical quality and efficiency facts for specific doctors, information that has never been available to consumers before.

*If you enroll in an Aetna plan and live in a location where the Aexcel specialty network is available, you will need to see one of these specialist to receive in-network benefit coverage. UnitedHealthcare Find-a-Doctor

The UnitedHealthcare provider directory lets you search for doctors, hospitals, facilities and other providers, as well as for providers of medical equipment and supplies. You can search for a specific doctor, all doctors in a given area, specialists, doctors recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and more. You can also refine your search by gender and language preferences. Provider details include office hours, education and credentials, and hospital affiliations.

MetLife Find a Dentist

The MetLife Find a PDP Dentist Tool allows you to see whether your dentist is in the MetLife network or to locate a dentist in the network close to home or work.

VSP Network Doctor

The VSP Network Doctor tool allows you to find a VSP participating doctor in your area or to check if your current doctor is in the network.
